I began my golfing career at Rondebosch Golf Club in 1991 at the age of 16.

At age 18 I represented RGC in 3^rd league and went on to represent the club at Premier League level from 1998 – 2000 and Captained the team to league honours in 1999. I won my first amateur event in 1996, The Metropolitan Open.

In December 2000 I began my PGA training under Jamie Gough at JGGS at Telkom Business Golf Academy and from there I moved to a Golf Club and on course Pro Shop environment at The Royal Cape Golf Club.

In March 2004 I moved back to Rondebosch Golf Club and qualified as a Class A club professional through the PGA of SA.
